Another sunny day in the marvelous city of Granada so we decided to visit the famous Paseo de Los Tristes, the romantic road of the flamenco street performers and cozy terraces where they serve tapas. This road, that goes alongside The Darro river, has its terrible name (en. Road of the Sad) from the past, when the funeral processions passed through here before arriving at the cemetery behind the Alhambra. But this road wasn’t defined all the time by the sadness, in fact, here were held many fiestas, including corridas de toros (bull-fighting) and other popular games. These places are filled with history, as the oldest buildings here (and some of the bridges) date back from 1609.

Otro día soleado en la maravillosa ciudad de Granada, así que decidimos visitar el famoso Paseo de Los Tristes, la calle romántica de los artistas callejeros flamencos y terrazas donde sirven tapas. Este camino, que va junto al río Darro, tiene su terrible nombre debido al pasado, cuando los cortejos fúnebres pasaban por aquí antes de llegar al cementerio detrás de la Alhambra. Pero este camino no se ha definido todo el tiempo por la tristeza, de hecho, aquí se celebraban muchas fiestas, incluyendo corridas de toros y otros juegos populares. Estos lugares están llenos de historia, como sus edificios más antiguos (y algunos de los puentes) datan de 1609.
