¡Que trabaje Rita! Maspalomas 2014

I just came back from the 9th edition of Maspalomas Pride and I can tell it was the best I’ve been since 2011. Great shows on Yumbo stage, Gala Drag Queen, famous international artists (Kate Ryan, Cascade), Miss Beautiful, excellent parade, amazing foam party and great fireworks! Not to mention the pool parties, boat trips and T-Dance festival. And for me, the big surprise was the presence, for the first time, of the best Spanish party, ¡Que trabaje Rita!, celebrated at AxelBeach Hotel. Supremme de Luxe, La Prohibida, Las Shimay, The Gloo Gloo Girls, Sansano Nasnas, La Ford Fiesta, Sirenita, Úrsula Estar Moderna, Lara Sajen, Nuestra Isabel Pantoja and the special guests Karina and La Pelopony came on the show under the magic wand of Mateo Franjo, the father and director of the party, just to create a wonderful open air party. Acabo de regresar de la novena edición del Pride de Maspalomas y os puedo decir que fue la mejor desde 2011. Grandes espectáculos en el escenario de centro comercial Yumbo, Gala Drag Queen, famosas artistas internacionales (Kate Ryan, Cascade), Miss Beautiful, excelente desfile, increíble fiesta de la espuma y magnificos fuegos artificiales! Por no hablar de las pool party, paseos en barco y el festival T-Dance. Y para mí, la gran sorpresa fue la presencia, por primera vez allí, de la mejor fiesta española, ¡Que trabaje Rita!, que se celebró en el hotel AxelBeach. Supremme de Luxe, La Prohibida, Las Shimay, The Gloo Gloo Girls, Sansano Nasnas, La Ford Fiesta, La Sirenita, Úrsula Estar Moderna, Lara Sajen, Nuestra Isabel Pantoja y las invitadas especiales Karina y La Pelopony llegaron en el programa bajo la varita mágica de Mateo Franjo, el padre y el director de la fiesta, sólo para crear una maravillosa fiesta al aire libre. The new season of ¡Que trabaje Rita! night party started in September, but it was impossible for me to attend it. I went to the second one, last Sunday, as usual at Charada ClubdeBaile, Madrid. Check the photos and the video and enjoy them!

La nueva temporada de ¡Que trabaje Rita! se inició en septiembre, pero yo no pude asistir a esta fiesta. Así que salí a la segunda, el pasado domingo, como de costumbre en Charada ClubdeBaile, Madrid. ¡Disfruta de las fotos y del vídeo!

Short notice

Hello my friends! I have a short announcement to make: the flyer of BurLesKAS 2013 is now on the market. There will be published soon (next week) the travel&accommodation offer for the party (including the Pride of Maspalomas) and, of course, I’ll keep you well informed. The Pride of Maspalomas is the best LGBT pride I ever been (& I attended some), maybe because the city of Maspalomas is like a huge beach resort, 90% of the population being tourists or maybe because the open mind people of the island… You can browse my blog for countless photos I made there this year.

BurLesKAS is an only for women burlesque dance party, and it’s now an official Pride of Maspalomas event.  The next year BurLesKAS party will be also accompanied by a daylight gay&lesbian POOL PARTY (made in association with UXXS Magazine). It’s first edition was this year in August and it was a massive success, flushing the myth that gay men and lesbians cannot party together.

All in one, BurLesKAS means: music, party, djs, cocktails, beach, great weather!, pretty women, burlesque outfits, good vibe, nice atmosphere and so on.

Be Sound – June 8

Some photos from the party of Be Sound in Closet Club, Madrid. It was a nice party, gorgeous dancers and great djs. The club has a nice atmosphere, the personal is courteous and the bartenders funny and professional. The pictures are not very good quality due to the darkness of the room, but I think it’s not very bad, after all.

Algunas fotos de la fiesta Be Sound en el Closet Club, Madrid. Fue una fiesta agradable, bailarinas magníficas y buenos djs. El club cuenta con un ambiente agradable, el personal es amable y las camareras divertidas y profesional. Las fotos no son de buena calidad debido a la oscuridad de la habitación, pero creo que no es tan malo, pensando a todo.
