Cabo Fisterra

If you’re a constant reader of my blog you already know how much I love Galicia and how much I enjoy visiting this region in North of Spain. This time I share with you the beauty of Cabo Fisterra, or Finisterre, not in just one session, but two, one from 2016 and the other from 2017. Finisterre, which is a rock-bound peninsula on the west coast of Galicia where Romans believed is the end of the world, deserves to be visited more than just once. Enjoy!

Si eres unos de los visitantes constantes de mi blog ya te enterraste de mi amor por Galicia y como me encanta visitar esta región del norte de España. Hoy os compartiré la maravilla que es Cabo Fisterra o Finisterre, que he visitado no solo una vez sino dos veces, en 2016 y respectivamente 2017. Finisterre, esa península rocosa de la costa oeste de Galicia, donde los antiguos romanos pensaban que acaba la tierra, se merece ser visitada más de una vez. ¡Disfrutad!

Direction: on the beach!

It’s getting hot outside and the only remedy is to have some days on the beach. And to convince you (if necessary), here are some photos from my Gran Canaria’s last holiday (May 2013). Is it enough to make you book your beach tickets ? 🙂

Hace calor afuera, y la única solución es tener algunos días en la playa. Y para convencerte (si hace falta), aquí están algunas fotos de mis últimas vacaciones en Gran Canaria (mayo de 2013). ¿Es suficiente para hacerte reservar tu alojamiento cerca de la playa? 🙂

The seafront

Maspalomas, May 2013. Somehow windy, but look at the sky, the ocean… And by the way, I was at 100 feet high from the beach on a narrow stone fence. Amazing, right ? 🙂

Maspalomas, mayo de 2013. Un día con viento, pero mira el cielo, el mar… Y, por cierto, estaba a 30 metros de altura sobre la playa en una estrecha cerca de piedra. Increíble, ¿verdad? 🙂

The cat

I love cats and this maybe Gray Russian cat was every morning on our route to the beach so I stopped to give her a caress and we became friends for all our long stay in Maspalomas (January 2013). Please ignore my hairstyle (haha) as the wind was kind of strong and I was unable to do anything but a ponytail. Not to mention the bangs… but that’s the Ocean breeze 🙂

Me encantan los gatos y este gato griso ruso era cada mañana en nuestro camino a la playa, así que me paré para darle una caricia y nos hicimos amigos para toda nuestra larga estancia en Maspalomas (enero de 2013). Por favor, no hagas caso de mi peinado (jaja) ya que el viento era bastante fuerte y no pude hacer otra cosa que una cola de caballo. Por no hablar de los flequillos … pero esa es la brisa del océano 🙂

First day at the beach

January 1st 2013. My first day on the beach in Maspalomas. My white skin is about to be tanned, hehe. Unfortunately, the first day of 2013 was kind of windy, so it was difficult to swim, but the tanning process went well. Enjoy!
