Cabo Fisterra

If you’re a constant reader of my blog you already know how much I love Galicia and how much I enjoy visiting this region in North of Spain. This time I share with you the beauty of Cabo Fisterra, or Finisterre, not in just one session, but two, one from 2016 and the other from 2017. Finisterre, which is a rock-bound peninsula on the west coast of Galicia where Romans believed is the end of the world, deserves to be visited more than just once. Enjoy!

Si eres unos de los visitantes constantes de mi blog ya te enterraste de mi amor por Galicia y como me encanta visitar esta región del norte de España. Hoy os compartiré la maravilla que es Cabo Fisterra o Finisterre, que he visitado no solo una vez sino dos veces, en 2016 y respectivamente 2017. Finisterre, esa península rocosa de la costa oeste de Galicia, donde los antiguos romanos pensaban que acaba la tierra, se merece ser visitada más de una vez. ¡Disfrutad!

2016:

Cáceres – I

Cáceres is, not only in my opinion,  one of the best conserved medieval city in Spain. It’s impossible not to love it! If you’re visiting Spain this should be on your traveling map; its impressive medieval architecture, nice people and delicious food alongside with its  exquisite wines worth at least a 2-3 days stop there. From Cáceres you can also visit Trujillo and Mérida, smaller towns, but full of charm, and also the beautiful city of Plasencia (I’ll come back soon with a travel post about it).  Enjoy this first part of Cáceres photos as there will be a second part, and maybe even a third one. Cáceres hace, no solo en mi opinión, una de las mejor conservadas ciudades medievales de España. ¡Es imposible no amarla! Si estás visitando España, esta ciudad es imprescindible estar en tu mapa; su impresionante arquitectura medieval, sus habitantes y el conjunto de la comida rica y los vinos especiales se merecen, como mínimo, una estancia de 2 o 3 días. Desde Cáceres puedes además visitar Trujillo y Mérida, ciudades más pequeñas pero con mucho encanto, y la maravillosa ciudad de Plasencia (volveré pronto con más detalles sobre esta ciudad). First time in Combarro

This is called “first time in Combarro” because there is also a “second time in Combarro”, not yet published. Well, Combarro is a Spanish fishing village near the city of Pontevedra (situated in the estuary with the same name) in Galicia. The beauty of the small village consists in narrow walking only streets that look carved in stone, the amazing sea food cuisine and the picturesque harbor. I love this small town!

Llamé esta entrada “primera vez en Combarro” por que existe también un “segunda vez en Combarro”, de momento sin publicar. Bueno, Combarro es un pueblo marinero, cerca de Pontevedra (en la Ría con el mismo nombre) en Galicia. La belleza de este pequeño pueblo resida en sus callejones estrechos que parecen tallados en roca, la deliciosa comida a base de pescados y mariscos y el puerto pintoresco. ¡Me encanta este pueblo!

¡2018!

Hello friends, it looks like we just stepped into 2018, happy new year! And this year I chose to celebrate it at the ocean, in the Canary Islands. There was a fabulous 5 days #kmk parties (where saxophone and dj create a vibrant amazing cocktail), hosted by the outstanding Tipsy Hammock bar, and here is the first one: the new years eve party. I preferred to let the photos untouched as the movement and the noise was part of the night, hehe. This is just a selection of the more than 100 photos we took that night, those who follow me on instagram or facebook saw many more pictures. Enjoy and once again, happy new year!!!

Hola amigos, parece que acabamos de entrar en 2018, ¡feliz año nuevo! Esta vez elegí celebrarlo cerca del océano, en las Canarias. Han sido unos fabulosos 5 días de fiestas marca #kmk (donde se mezclan el saxofón y el dj creando una vibración espectacular) , organizados en el maravilloso Tipsy Hammock bar, y para hoy tengo las fotos del primer día, el de la Nochevieja. He preferido subir las fotos sin retocarlas ya que el movimiento y el ruido han sido parte de la fiesta, jeje. Aún así, esa es sólo una pequeña selección de las más de 100 fotos tomadas esa noche, los que me siguen en instagram o facebook ya han visto muchas más fotos. Disfrutad y otra vez, ¡feliz año nuevo!
