Cáceres – I

Cáceres is, not only in my opinion,  one of the best conserved medieval city in Spain. It’s impossible not to love it! If you’re visiting Spain this should be on your traveling map; its impressive medieval architecture, nice people and delicious food alongside with its  exquisite wines worth at least a 2-3 days stop there. From Cáceres you can also visit Trujillo and Mérida, smaller towns, but full of charm, and also the beautiful city of Plasencia (I’ll come back soon with a travel post about it).  Enjoy this first part of Cáceres photos as there will be a second part, and maybe even a third one. Cáceres hace, no solo en mi opinión, una de las mejor conservadas ciudades medievales de España. ¡Es imposible no amarla! Si estás visitando España, esta ciudad es imprescindible estar en tu mapa; su impresionante arquitectura medieval, sus habitantes y el conjunto de la comida rica y los vinos especiales se merecen, como mínimo, una estancia de 2 o 3 días. Desde Cáceres puedes además visitar Trujillo y Mérida, ciudades más pequeñas pero con mucho encanto, y la maravillosa ciudad de Plasencia (volveré pronto con más detalles sobre esta ciudad). Streets of Granada

When I’m visiting a city I like, of course, to do the typical tourist attractions but also to have a walk on the narrows streets of its old neighborhood, where most of the hidden part of the city’s history resides. Granada’s old town is also part of the touristic map, so no chance to avoid it. Come with me on a journey in old Granada!

 Cuando estoy visitando una ciudad me gusta, por supuesto, ver las atracciones turísticas típicas, pero también me encanta dar un paseo por las calles estrechas de su casco antiguo, donde reside la parte más oculta de la historia de la ciudad. El casco antiguo de Granada es también parte del mapa turístico, por lo que no habría posibilidad de evitarlo. ¡Viaja conmigo en el casco antiguo de Granada!

[Pride of Madrid] Thursday night

The Orgullo (Pride) started in Madrid and my nights are now occupied in between the shows from various places, mainly in Chueca neighborhood. There are so many interesting shows that it is hard to chose where to go, what to see… Last night, I was in Plaza del Rey to see “El lamento de las Divas” (drama of three divas) and then “Perdona, bonita, pero Lucas me quería a mí” (sorry but Lucas loved me, a show about three gay room mates that loved the forth). Soon more infos about the shows at the Orgullo.

El Orgullo comenzó en Madrid y mis noches son ahora ocupadas en medio de los shows de varios lugares, sobre todo en el barrio de Chueca. Hay tantos espectáculos interesantes que rezulta difícil elegir a dónde ir, qué ver … Ayer por la noche, yo estaba en la plaza del Rey para ver “El lamento de las Divas” (drama de tres divas) y luego “Perdona, bonita, Pero Lucas me queria a mí” (una serie sobre tres compañeros de habitación homosexuales que amaban el cuarto). Pronto más informaciones sobre los espectáculos del Orgullo.
