This is my caricature made by a Serbian artist at the Yumbo Center in Maspalomas on January 2013. The girl next me is my sweet lover and YES, we look almost the same, but she’s a brunette. Now we have the sexy paint at the head of our matrimonial bed 🙂

Este es mi caricatura hecha por un artista serbio en el Centro Comercial Yumbo en Maspalomas en enero de 2013. La chica de al lado me es mi dulce pareja y ¡si, es verdad!, somos muy parecidas, pero ella tiene su melena color oscuro. Hemos puesto este pintura sexy a la cabecera de nuestra cama matrimonial 🙂

Cold days

We have very cold days in Madrid… I was unable to unbutton my trench coat to have a proper photo session, and that’s the signal the weather went too cold. I stopped my Gran Canaria photo story to post these new photos (from yesterday, February 25th) from the frozen Madrid. I don’t know if you notice the coldness on my face, haha… Enjoy the photos!

BurLesKAS 2013 News

There are only two months and a half left before the best ‘only for girls’ party in Gran Canaria: BurLesKAS! It’s a great dance party and a wonderful opportunity to make new friends or, who knows, to meet the girl of your life! But BurLesKAS is even more: the event take place every year on the last Friday of the Pride of Maspalomas, a LGBT joyful event that Gran Canaria and Maspalomas hosts every May. For 9 days (counting the pre-Pride events too), Maspalomas becomes the world capital of diversity with hundreds of thousands of participants, mainly from Europe, which is remarkable for a small island. The hospitality of the inhabitants, the perpetual sunshine (the island has a sub-tropical climate), the affordable prices, all conduct to a great holiday, so what are you waiting for ?

The rum’s secret

I like to drink rum in cocktails as well as simple with ice (and lemon). I know a lot about different types of rum, I’m that kind of person that doesn’t drink to get drunk, I enjoy the taste, the flavor, the color… every details. I took advantage of my January trip to Gran Canaria and I visited the biggest rum distillery in Europe which is located in the heart of the island, at Arucas (Arehucas, the old name). The distillery’s products include rum, rum honey, rum golden but also a variety of delicious liquors: banana cream, Bienmesabe – almonds – Canarian type of liquor (irresistible!!), coffee liquor, menthe (peppermint) liquor, milk cream (milk, cinnamon and lemon, huh, can you resist it ?!). Now, with a glass of Bienmesabe liquor in my hand, let’s concentrate on the photos 🙂

Me gusta beber ron en cócteles, pero también solamente con hielo (y limón). Conozco un montón de diferentes tipos de ron, soy ese tipo de persona que no bebe para emborracharse, me gusta el sabor, el aroma, el color … todos los detalles. Aproveché mi viaje de enero a Gran Canaria y visité la destilería de ron más grande en Europa, que se encuentra en el corazón de la isla, en Arucas (Arehucas, el nombre antiguo). Los productos de la destilería incluyen ron, ron miel, ron dorado, sino también una gran variedad de deliciosos licores: crema de banana, Bienmesabe – almendras – licor Canario (irresistible!!), licor de café, menta (hierbabuena), licor de crema de leche (leche, canela y limón, eh, ¿puedes resistir?). Ahora, con un vaso de licor Bienmesabe en mi mano, vamos a concentrarnos a las fotos 🙂
