Vivid colors

The springtime comes always with vivid colors (as the nature refresh itself) and I like to cherish the good weather wearing raw, powerful colors. And it’s also the best time to wear jackets (with shorts). Happy springtime!!!

La primavera trae siempre los colores vivos (como la naturaleza refresque a sí mismo) y me gusta celebrar el buen tiempo llevando trajes de colores potentes, sin mezclas. Y también es el mejor momento para usar las americanas (con pantalones cortos). ¡Feliz primavera!

The peacock earrings

Under the bridge

Madrid, March 2013. One sunny day (but cold) I took my red Stradivarius jacket and made this trip in the old historical part of the city and took some pictures under the bridge, near the Palacio Real (Royal Palace). And I found out that the area has the name of a photographer, so convenient! Enjoy!

Madrid, marzo de 2013. Un día soleado (pero frío), llevando mi abrigo rojo de Stradivarius, hice este viaje en el casco histórico de la ciudad y tomó algunas fotografías bajo el puente, cerca del Palacio Real. Además me enteré que la zona tiene el nombre de un fotógrafo, ¡muy práctico! ¡Disfrutad!

May 2, 1808. Madrid. Civilians and some of the Spanish army rebelled against the French occupation troops of Napoleon. The brutal french repression was represented by the painter Francisco de Goya and it was the start of the Spanish Independence War. For this particular moment, there is a monument on Paseo del Prado in Madrid and I went to visit the place. It’s surrounded by high fences, but you can still see the eternal burning flame.

I went there to have a photo session and it was a great idea. Perfect light and good places to fix the camera on. Enjoy the photos!

2 de mayo 1808. Madrid. La población civil y algunos de las trupas españolas se rebelaron contra las tropas de ocupación francesas de Napoleón. La represión francés fue brutal, estuvo inmortalizada en las obras  del pintor Francisco de Goya y fue el comienzo de la Guerra de la Independencia española. Para este momento en particular, hay un monumento en el Paseo del Prado en Madrid así que visité el lugar. Está rodeado por vallas altas, pero todavía se puede ver la llama ardiente eterna.

Fui allí para tener una sesión de fotos y resultó una buena idea. Luz perfecta y buenos lugares para fijar la cámara. ¡Disfruta las fotos!
