My Halloween

As I already stated on facebook, I’m not a big fan of Halloween, I don’t understand the need to be ugly, frightening, to inspire fear. But I don’t judge it, I prefer to get my gothic look instead and talk to the skulls hahaha.

Como ya he dicho en facebook, yo no soy un gran fan de Halloween, no entiendo la necesidad de ponerte feo, temible, de inspirar miedo. Pero yo no juzgo a nadie, yo prefiero arreglarme con mi traje gótico y hablar con los cráneos jajaja.

Saturday night’s fun

Saturday night: started with a short shopping spree on Fuencarral street, continued with the dinner at the terrace of a very recommendable restaurant, Burger Lobby, located in Plaza del Rey, then we went to our favorite bar, Pouss, where we celebrated the birthday of Jones, our friend and Madrid´s best bartender, and then ended up watching, from a bench, the early morning people walking on Gran Vía boulevard.

La noche de sábado: comenzó con una corta sesión de compras por Fuencarral, continuó con la cena en la terraza de un restaurante muy recomendable, Burger Lobby, ubicado en la Plaza del Rey, luego nos fuimos a nuestro bar favorito, Pouss, donde celebramos el cumpleaños de Jones, nuestro amigo y mejor barman de Madrid y terminó admirando, sentadas en un banco, la gente caminando en la madrugada por la Gran Vía.

Lavapiés Diverso, Pouss and Marvelous

Saturday night started with live jazz-rock concert in Nelson Mandela square, at Lavapiés Diverso, the July multi-cultural festival held by the famous and picturesque Lavapiés neighborhood, then continued with amazing cocktails and a lot of good time in Pouss bar (12 Infantas Street) and ended up dancing at Marvelous (Boite club), a glitter-chic party made by the creators of the well-known ¡Que trabaje Rita!.

La noche del sábado pasado comenzó con un concierto en vivo de jazz-rock en la plaza Nelson Mandela, por Lavapiés Diverso, el festival multicultural de julio en el famoso y pintoresco barrio de Lavapiés, continuó luego con increíbles cócteles y un montón de buen tiempo en Pouss bar (Calle Infantas 12) y terminó bailando en Marvelous (Club Boite), una fiesta chic-brillante hecha por los creadores de la muy famosa ¡Que trabaje Rita!.

Leather shorts

I bought the leather shorts from Blanco, the top comes from Bershka, sandals from Zara, the bag and the earrings are from Stradivarius and the Margaritas from the house (joking, we paid for them 😛 ). I find the leather shorts to be one of the must-haves of this fall-winter season so I enjoy their versatility.

Compré los pantalones cortos de cuero de Blanco, el top proviene de Bershka, las sandalias de Zara, el bolso y los pendientes son de Stradivarius y las Margaritas de la casa (broma, les hemos pagado P). Creo que el pantalon corto de cuero es uno de los “must-haves” de esta temporada de otoño-invierno, así que gozo de su versatilidad.

Clubbing is back

July and August are not made for inside clubbin’ so most of the clubs are closed during summer, but now they’re back in business! Last weekend started a new season of the ¡Que trabaje Rita! party (I couldn’t go, unfortunately). Now I’m open to new parties! These photos are from June actually, from Diamante Club. Enjoy!

Julio y agosto no se va al interior de los clubes así que la mayoría de los clubes están cerrados durante el verano, pero ahora ¡están de vuelta en el negocio! El fin de semana pasado comenzó una nueva temporada de la fiesta ¡Que trabaje Rita! (yo no podía ir, por desgracia). Ahora estoy abierto a nuevas fiestas.
